AML & KYC Policy
Our approach to preventing financial crime through rigorous identity verification and ongoing monitoring.
Last updated: October 2026

1 Our Commitment to Financial Integrity

BD Broker maintains a firm commitment to preventing money laundering, terrorist financing, and other forms of financial crime. This Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) Policy sets out the procedures we follow to verify client identity, monitor account activity, and comply with applicable financial regulations.

2 Customer Identification Procedures

Before an account may be fully activated, every client is required to complete our identity verification process, which may include:

BD Broker reserves the right to decline, suspend, or delay account activation until identification requirements have been satisfactorily completed.

3 Ongoing Monitoring

We continuously monitor client accounts and transaction activity for patterns that may indicate suspicious or unusual behaviour, including but not limited to transactions inconsistent with a client's stated profile, rapid movement of funds without clear economic purpose, and activity connected to high-risk jurisdictions.

4 Source of Funds & Source of Wealth

We may, at our discretion, request information or documentation regarding the origin of funds deposited into an account or the broader source of a client's wealth. Clients are expected to cooperate promptly and truthfully with any such request. Failure to provide satisfactory information may result in restricted account access pending resolution.

5 Reporting Obligations

Where we identify activity that reasonably appears suspicious, we are obligated under applicable law to file the appropriate reports with relevant financial intelligence units or regulatory authorities. In accordance with legal requirements, we may be prohibited from disclosing to a client that such a report has been made.

6 Prohibited Jurisdictions & Sanctioned Persons

BD Broker does not knowingly open or maintain accounts for individuals or entities that are subject to international sanctions, or who are resident in jurisdictions where the provision of our services would violate applicable law. We reserve the right to terminate any account discovered to fall within these categories without prior notice.

7 Record Retention

All identification documents, transaction records, and related compliance documentation are retained for a minimum period as required by applicable AML regulation, typically no less than five years following the closure of an account.

8 Client Cooperation

By opening an account with BD Broker, you agree to provide accurate and complete information during the verification process, to promptly notify us of any material change to your personal or financial circumstances, and to cooperate fully with any reasonable request made in connection with our compliance obligations.
